🔧 Hardware Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our hardware. All hardware components are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

If any hardware fails under normal use, please email us at prairiedogcollarco@gmail.com, and we’ll be happy to arrange a repair.

✅ What’s Covered:

Hardware failures due to defects, including:

• Trigger snaps that break or stop functioning

• Broken D-rings, O-rings, or rivets

These will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

Please note: Shipping costs to send items in for repair are the responsibility of the buyer.

🚫 What’s Not Covered:

This warranty does not cover damage due to:

• Chewing or biting

• Misuse of the product

• Normal wear and tear

• Material changes from your pet’s natural oils

• Scratches or fading on hardware

Note: Our matte black hardware is powder coated, and quick-release buckles are plated. Over time, it’s completely normal for these finishes to scratch or change color—this is considered standard wear and not covered under warranty.
